Nearly two years ago to their wedding day, Sarah and Kurt met at another wedding in which they were both members of the bridal party. After a night of dancing at the reception together, they both felt a spark between them but thought nothing would come of it.

Well…it did! These two made it through the stresses of a long-distance relationship in the beginning and are happy to be starting their married life in the same city together. Of course, they had to celebrate their marriage by lots of fun reception dancing too. :)

If you haven’t heard of the “anniversary dance”, its one of the sweetest ways to honor those who have been married for so long. All married couples start on the dancefloor and then the DJ announces anniversaries and one by one, the couples have to leave if he says how long you’ve been married. So by the end of the song, the longest married couple is left on the floor. Kurt’s grandparents were the last couple, and if I remember correctly, they have been married 64 years!! What an accomplishment!

The DJ also asked his grandparents to give the newlyweds the secret to a long and happy marriage. I’m not sure what Grandma said, but it was obviously a hoot!
