We were all keeping a close eye on the weather during the Shelley and David’s wedding weekend in Greenville. It had predicted 60% chance of rain storms for the day, but once again the weather man was wrong and we got lucky without even a drop of rain. It was a little chilly and we had a lot of wind, but that just gave this sweet couple even more reason to cuddle close while her beautiful cathedral length veil flowed and wrapped around them.

During the rehearsal the night before, Shelley approached me and asked if it would be possible to change plans so they could have a First Look. Since I am a HUGE fan of doing this, of course we made it happen. This gave us so much time for portraits and reduced a lot of stress for everyone. While planning their wedding, David initially said “no” to having a First Look because it’s against “tradition”, but after seeing his gorgeous bride, he told me that it was such a great decision. I’m so thankful we were able to make that work for them, and huge thanks to Shelby with I Do! for going with the flow and working around a new timeline with us!
