Abigayle & Justin: Engaged at Campbell’s Covered Bridge

Filed in: Engagements

Abigayle and Justin met in high school through a mutual friend named Isaac. Isaac had a birthday party where he invited all of his friends to his land to ride four wheelers. One girl and one guy had to be paired up to ride together and the girls picked, so she chose Justin. She said she remembers laughing all day while riding with him, and then when an evening thunderstorm came and she snuggled into his back so the rain didn’t pelt her so hard. She was immediately drawn to his fun and outgoing personality. From that day, they remained best friends throughout high school and the beginning of college.

After their first real date, Justin took Abigayle out to his family farm: 150 acres of wide open land. They sat at the back of the truck looking at the stars, and that’s when he asked her to be his girlfriend. How romantic!! She told me, “How could you ever say no to your best friend turning into your boyfriend. For the longest time was the protector of my heart and now he had my heart.” So sweet, right? Justin said he was the happiest man in Laurens that night, that’s for sure!

Abigayle booked with me last September, so I’ve been anxiously waiting to meet these two in person! She’s in pharmacy school, so we waited until she was out of school for summer to do their session. I always tell my brides to prepare their grooms with what to expect in their session, but no need for that with Justin! I think he might have been more excited than Abigayle! And he may look serious and pensive in some of these photos, but dont be fooled. He brought his A-game with modeling and actually had me in stitches laughing the whole time. It is such a blessing when my couples and I fit so perfectly together, when they wholly trust my directions, and immediately let down their guards. Needless to say, I can’t wait to be a part of Abigayle and Justin’s wedding day!
