I first met Ellen when she was the maid of honor for another JSP bride, Elizabeth. While they are cousins, you can also tell that they are best friends. I remember Ellen being so attentive to Elizabeth that day, so it was a joy to see these two lovely ladies switch places a few weeks ago. This time, Elizabeth was able to make sure Ellen felt calm and taken care of throughout the day. It all came full circle and I’m so thankful that I was able to be a part of BOTH weddings.

Ellen and Jeff celebrated their union at Revel, one of the newest venues in downtown Greenville. The most touching moment for me to witness was after they had their first kiss as husband and wife. While most couples immediately turn out towards their congregation and race back down the aisle, Ellen and Jeff just took a moment to embrace each other. It was like no one else was in the room, and you could tell they were soaking up that moment of officially being married. Then, they turned towards their family and friends and it was time to party!

To the newlywed Herzogs, thank you for inviting me into your lives and allowing me to capture these memories for you. Enjoy some of my favorites from your day!
