We scheduled Laura and Brad’s engagement session in Charleston on the day after my birthday; we take any chance we can get to visit the Holy City and this was the perfect way to celebrate too! She texted me on our way down saying that they were nervous about being awkward. Well, I can tell you that this was one of the easiest and fun sessions I’ve had! These two are so charming and laid back, took directions without question, and had no problem showing their affection to one another. On top of that, I think God gave me a birthday blessing because we barely dodged a rain storm but had perfect overcast skies (which meant I could shoot ANYwhere!).
Laura and Brad are the type of couple that you meet and immediately want to be friends with them. We walked the streets of Charleston talking about our love of cooking and food, travel and finding adventure, and how my Bradley was envious of Brad’s job as a pilot. Then, we picked up their cruiser bikes from their house and rode over to the Bikeway. I had never seen this little gem of a location, but I know I’ll be back! There was no one there, so we had free-range with all the gorgeous views. It was a dreamy day for sure, the best way to end my birthday, and I cannot wait to be a part of their upcoming wedding.
Follow along for more of my life, recent work, and everything in between.
