Kasey and Alec’s Huguenot Mill wedding day was the perfect start to my 2022 spring season! Their engagement session last year at Black Balsam Knob surprised us with freezing temperatures and crazy strong gusts of wind, but these two kept their adorable smiles and embraced the unexpected. With the warm weather we had the week prior to their wedding, I was hopeful for a turnaround from their engagement story! But it seems that cold and windy weather is the only way for us to work together! I knew that Kasey and Alec would be able to handle it though, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think you can tell how cold it was just by looking at these photos. Their smiles only show warmth and happiness!
The bright colors of this spring wedding perfectly complimented their joyful attitudes. It was truly a privilege to photograph it all. Enjoy some of my favorites from this cold yet colorful Huguenot Mill wedding!
Kasey’s grandparents were the last ones standing for the anniversary dance…61 years married! Love this sweet photo of the longest married and the newlyweds.
