It’s a little bit funny the way that I meet some of my clients. At the end of last summer, we were having a baby shower for my brother and one of my mom’s childhood friends was there. As I was chatting with her, she mentioned that her son Brandon was engaged and they were looking for a wedding photographer. Of course, being the business-ready person that I am, I gave her my information and told her to have her son’s fiancee Kathy contact me. Did I think I would be getting a wedding client reference at a baby shower? No, but I’m sure glad I did!

Kathy emailed me that week, we chatted, we met over coffee, she booked her date, and I couldn’t be happier to have this couple as part of my 2013 wedding lineup. Kathy is so genuine and kind-hearted, and I know that her and Brandon will have a beautiful faith-driven marriage together.
