Lauren and Josh started that future together a couple weeks ago with their Ryan Nicholas Inn wedding day, but let’s back up to when Lauren first saw this day coming. When they first started dating in high school, Lauren said she and Josh would talk on the phone for HOURS. To the point where her mom would walk in my room at 2 am and tell her to go to bed. She said that one night when they were hanging up, she remembers this feeling that she never wanted to stop talking to him and realized how much she did love him. It was from that point that she knew there was future with him.

So much planning, thought, and prayers go into wedding prep, and we can just hope that it all comes together. Well, Lauren and Josh had the most beautifully perfect day. The timeline flowed smoothly, everyone smiled through lots of family portraits, and we all had the best time dancing at the reception. These two have so much love and support surrounding them and it was certainly felt throughout the day.

Lauren and Josh, thank you for inviting me to share this journey with you. I think you’ve truly found your other half in each other, and wish you all the best as you start your lives as one! Enjoy looking through some of my favorites from their day.

I’ve seen a lot of gift exchanges on wedding days, but Josh’s gift to Lauren takes the cake with being the most thoughtful. Lauren’s favorite perfume that she wore when they first started dating has since been discontinued. Josh purchased it almost four years ago and has been saving it since, knowing that one day he would give it to her on their wedding day. I was blown away with this!

One tip I give my brides is to purchase a special perfume on their wedding day because scent is such a huge memory trigger. Every time they wear it in the future, it will remind them of that day. Now, Lauren can wear this gifted perfume and remember both times: when they first fell in love and when they became husband and wife. Well done, Josh!!

Oh my goodness, Lauren’s bridesmaids has the sweetest reactions to seeing her for the first time as a bride!                                     

Here’s another sweet moment after their First Look. Josh asked if he could pray for them in that moment. He had written out some special words that he spoke for just the two of them to hear. It was the perfect start to their day together.

 

Lauren’s grandmother was a florist, so she contributed to the wedding by giving them this beautiful installation piece. Bella Blooms did an amazing job making it come to life!

Can I just say that I LOVE when couples make extra time for portraits at sunset?! These are some of my favorites from the day! And one more round of applause for Josh, who wanted to keep going with photos! Lauren, you’ve really found the perfect match!
